Effective 9 May, 2008, of the 1.74 million shares possessed by Hodogaya Chemical Co., Ltd. in the company, 1.03 million were transferred to Tosoh Corp., and the shareholding ratio of Nippon Polyurethane Industry thereby became Tosoh 80.28% (2.89 million shares) and Hodogaya Chemical 19.72% (0.71 million shares).
