NPU completed new MDI facilities of 200,000mt/year in the Tosoh Nanyo site adjacent to the NPU Nanyo factory in the latter part of November 2007.

After completing trial production last December, NPU started full-scale commercial operations on schedule satisfactorily in the early part of January.

Now, the total MDI capacity of NPU turns out to be 400,000mt/year with three-lines, consisting of the existing 200,000mt/year capacity with two-lines at Nanyo site and the newly established capacity of 200,000mt/year as described above. NPU is now equipped to serving customers with a better supply than before.

NPU would like to respond to the expectations of those who use NPU products, by pursuing a supply responsibility as the largest MDI manufacturer in Asia, based on safe and stable plant operations.
