Safety, Health and Environment Policy

 

To practice zero-accident, zero-injury plant operation to insure worker and the safety of the local community;

 

 

To ensure the safety of raw material procurement, materials in process and finished products by protecting workers at the all stages of production, delivery and final use;

 

 

To assess the environmental loads of products throughout their life span, from raw material to disposal of finished products, while working to reduce the overall environmental impact of all products.

 

 


 

Nanyo Plant Environmental Policy

Environmental Philosophy

The environmental policy of Nanyo Plant is established based on NPU’s safety, health and environment policy and corporate philosophy. We take into consideration the environmental effects arising from our “polyurethane” production, products and services, so as to continuously enhance our environmental management systems, to maintain and improve the environment, as well as to live in harmony with the local community.

 Guidelines

With regards to all activities within Nanyo Plant, we strive to:
1.

(a)

recycle and minimize waste output

(b) save energy and resources
(c) reduce the amount of environmental contaminant output
(d) limit the use of materials which create a burden to the environment
so as to prevent pollution, and to maintain and improve the environment.
2.

To set up environmental goals and objectives within the limits of our technical and economical means. And to continuously enhance our environmental management systems by setting out the path to obtain our environmental goals and also to re-evaluate our environmental policies.

3. To assess the environmental impact of our production, products and services. To promote production process development, and to provide products and services, which have minimal impact on the environment.
4. To abide by environmental laws and regulations and observe those other requested environmental issues agreed upon by our company.
5.

To train and educate workers, and contribute to the local community through the induction of environmental management activities in the work place.

These environmental policies are open to the public and can be obtained by anybody upon request.
