NPU takes pride in the fact that polyurethane is an environmentally friendly chemical that not only saves energy, but also contributes to the prevention of global warming. Polyurethane is a resin, and is an important solution to the various recycling, global warming and related environmental problems that have recently confronted chemical manufacturers. At NPU, we have developed and brought into the market products like tightly sealed, high insulation foam, health and environmentally friendly water-borne polyurethane resins and adhesives, which do not emit formaldehyde, etc. In the future, NPU will continue to develop and produce products that are environmentally friendly.

Responsible Care Activities

NPU joined the Japan Responsible Care Conference (JRCC) in 1996, and is promoting activities that consider environmental protection, safety, and health as a company that manufactures chemicals in all stages, from research and development to manufacturing, sales, and consumption and waste.

ISO 14001

In order to facilitate an objective standard in the understanding of our environmental protection activities, we have achieved ISO 14001 international standard certification for environmental management systems.

The ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an organization, which encourages internationally generic management systems. At present, there is the ISO 9000 series, primarily concerned with quality management systems, and the ISO 14000 series, primarily concerned with environmental management.
